Did You Hear Me Father?

Do you have any doubts and wonder if God ever hear your prayers? Do you pray and think that even if God hears prayers I wonder if he is even paying attention to me? Have you prayed about things to change and don't see any positive changes? Do you ever ask yourself: I wonder if God cares about how I feel? If you've answered yes to either one of these questions, let's go on a venture and see what the words of God say about the Father and his willingness to answer the prayers of the righteous.

First, you will need to analyze yourself, make peace with Father (Psalm 66:18) and know for sure that you are the beloved and the righteous he is talking about. The Holy Father living in you as the comforter and teacher will give you the assurance that you are a child of God. Second, stimulate your mind and stir up yourself by reviewing the precious promises of Father to all searching to know him and coming to him with a sincere heart.

I get so excited and overwhelmed with love whenever I read what the bible has to say about how the Father answers the prayers of His loved ones or reacts to the needs of his children that I can't contain myself at times. I love to talk to him, bargain, question, petition, intercede and expectantly wait to see what he does, how he moves obstacles around, and how he works with my heart. Prayer gets us into close relationship with Father and brings healing, revelation and warmth to our soul.

Someone says once that no one can manipulate God into doing what he/she wants. Who else knows that better than I? I've also heard that manipulation is as of witchcraft. Who can manipulate the Almighty God to do their will anyway? I'd love to know such person. Even Jesus had to resign himself to the Father's perfect will while he was deep in prayer, overwhelmed with grief and sweating blood in the garden of Gethsemane. Thanks Jesus!

However, I don't have anything to lose when I pray because Father invites our prayers and questioning. Call unto me he says and I will show you great and mighty things that you know not (Jeremiah 33:2-3). I am saying like the Psalmist: Hear, O Lord when I cry with my voice! Have mercy also upon me, and answer me. When you said, “Seek my face,” my heart said to you, “Your face Lord I will seek.” Do not hide your face from me; you have been my help, O God of my salvation (Psalm 27:7-9).

Let's see some precious treasures in the book of Psalms of the Father's reaction when we call on him. Psalm 18:6-19 explains in details what Father does when we cry out to him. More responses are listed in the following passages. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with my eye (Psalm 32:8). The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles (Psalm 34:15, 17). You shall call upon me and I will answer you (Psalm 91:15). The Lord is near to all who call upon him, to all who call upon him in truth (Psalm 145:18).

Let's not forget that Father knows best, loves us, wants the best for us and works all things together for the good of those who love him and are called according to the promise. Hallelujah! Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:4-7).

By the way did you remember to pray today?

Blessed are those who hear the Word of God and obey it! (Luke 11:28)
