Feeding the hungry, clothing the naked are two things very very very close and dear to the heart of God the Father because He loves the poor. You and I have been blessed on this earth so we can take care of them. God commanded us in Deuteronomy 15 to help the poor. When Cornelius gave Alms to the poor, it came before God as a memorial (Acts 10:4). Job, who was also a great man of God, always cared for the poor (Job 32:16-22). Jesus, the Savior, the Son of the Living God, the Son of man, and God in the flesh, was also filled with compassion for people. He provided pure and free wine at a wedding, and fed thousands on two occasions

(Matthew 14:15-21; Marc 6:30-44; Marc 8:1-10).

God could drop manna from heaven for the poor. But He chose to use You and I in this end time harvest to be His heart of compassion and take care of the poor.
